2010.09 - Mt Everest, Tibet

John and Everest. That's a thumbs up!!

Me and Everest......You can never seem to capture mountains on film quite the way you see them.

Tibetan prayer flags are on every pass.

I think the altimeter says 5200m. We were on a mountain pass viewing Everest from there. Our Tibetan guide Lhamo said she had never seen it from this pass.

This was at Everest Base Camp in the evening. What a great day this was. Definitely a highlight for both of us.

These are the people we went on the Tibet tour with (not including the guide and driver. From left: John, Me, Harriet and Werner.

We traveled from EBC to the main highway on this back track. Very remote and Himalayan views all the way. Absolultely on e of the most stunning roads I have ever been on.

Blue horned sheep. There were plenty at EBC. Their horns weren't really blue though.......... ;0)
